Thus, the name WPC from wood – plastic composites is actually a composite of wood and plastic, because as a material, it is composed of mixing wood and plastic and thus takes the best of both, but their ratio may be different, depending on the manufacturer. From the equal share of both materials in this mixture, their ratio can go up to 90% of one in relation to 10% of the other material, and the characteristics of the composite material directly depend on the wood and plastic ratio.

Thanks to the production process and combination of materials, decking WPC systems are considered more advanced than wood in terms of quality, shape stability, resistance to atmospheric influences such as large differences in temperature, snow, humidity, salt, physical damage, etc. That is why WPC decking has found wide use in furnishing the exterior, and especially in paving various terraces, paths and pool areas. Since they are placed on the substructure, it is possible to pull various installations under the decking and change the purpose of the space without major interventions in it.

Unlike wood itself, WPC decking does not need to be coated with oil or other preservatives, and the color does not change over time.
